Founder
Derrick Williams, MBE
Derrick founded KitAid in 1998 and has enjoined the journey sharing kit to the world. Kit from English Premier League teams like Watford FC, Manchester United and even Newcastle United has been shared in places like Malawi, Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda and Thailand. Sharing the passion for sports across the world. It's more than just a shirt and with a team of volunteers, KitAid has sent out over 1,000,000 kits to children and adults in 55 countries across the world.

Operations Director
Kyle Abts
Kyle served in West Africa for over 25 years and provided leadership to a number of community development and transformational ministries in multiple countries around the globe. He is an avid sportsman and has coached volleyball, soccer, and basketball teams at various levels of play. Kyle has pioneered work in using sports as a tool for peace in Nigeria.

Communications Director
Ben Wildman
Ben lives in Kent, England and works remotely as a volunteer for KitAid USA as Communications Manager. Ben has been working with KitAid UK since 2014 and has seen the work grow across the UK. He’s now excited to see the work of KitAid USA grow and multiply. Ben helps to run the social media accounts and creates various media content for KitAid USA.

Logistics Director
Herschel Rothchild
Herschel lives in Texas and is the Logistics Director for KitAid USA. He served in the U.S. Navy and also as in Real Estate, before joining the ministry of SIM. He and his wife, Christine served in Nigeria with their family where they worked with street children, widows, and the destitute. Herschel grew up with a love of sports, especially baseball, and he loves being part of an organization that uses this sport to bring joy to the world.

Operations Manager
Ann Marie Abts
Ann Marie is Kyle’s better half and has come to appreciate the global impact of sports. She has worked with vulnerable individuals and those who have experienced trauma and loss, often in cross-cultural settings. As a licensed chaplain, she uses her skills to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of people, connecting them with resources and practical support.
